My Approach
It all begins with you.
OMT services are provided in an encouraging, relaxed environment with your health and comfort in mind. By using a systematic approach with allied health care providers, we can work together to determine the root cause of your challenges.
your health
Your wellness, with support.
The ultimate goal of OMT is to achieve relaxed nasal breathing with an optimal oral rest posture of teeth slightly apart, tongue gently suctioned to the palate (roof of mouth) and lips sealed. This is our body’s designed position for natural oral function and restorative airway health.
Easy breathe-y!
your control
You are in control of you.
My goal is to provide you with the knowledge and skills to improve your own health by habilitating areas of the cheeks, lips, tongue, and jaw as they relate to chewing, swallowing and breathing in their most natural state of function.
*More restful, restorative sleep and improved clarity of speech are frequently a bonus effect!

hi, I’m kristin.
SINCE 2001, I HAVE BEEN PASSIONATELY CARING FOR MY COMMUNITY’S ORAL HEALTH NEEDS AS A DENTAL HYGIENIST. IN 2024, I EXTENDED MY PROFESSIONAL PATH TO BECOME AN OROFACIAL MYOFUNCTIONAL THERAPIST AND OPENED MY THERAPY STUDIO, ZEPHYR MYO THERAPY.
When I was first introduced to Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders at a dental conference several years ago, I felt like I’d finally found the missing piece to the puzzle of functional oral health I had been searching for with my patients after so many years of practicing as a dental hygienist. I’m a knowledge seeker and a healer by nature, so my brain exploded with thoughts of how I might be able to improve the lives of many who are living with the effects of OMDs (Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders).
I became…dare I say obsessed?…. in my quest for knowledge in this area. I had an overwhelming desire to continue my education in Orofacial Myology so I could begin providing services for improving overall health and oral function in a way that I never would have imagined possible before.
Zephyr Myo Therapy, LLC offers Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy services in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Virtual sessions also available.
